Anna Houssels

Anna was born and raised in Sydney Australia. At the age of sixteen, she earned and accepted a contract to join the Australian Ballet Company becoming the youngest dancer ever to join its ranks. Anna quickly became one of its principal dancers and performed the leading roles of Romeo & Juliet, Swan Lake, and Giselle. She also performed as a guest principal artist with some of the top companies in the world including the Royal Danish Ballet, the Royal Academy and the Kirov. These guest performances gave her the opportunity to work with Mikhail Baryshnikov, Rudolf Nureyev, Natalia Makarova and Gelsey Kirkland. During her career, Anna was also fortunate to spend quality time with some exceptional role models, Princess Diana, Anthony Robbins and many others. In 1992, the Prime Minister of Australia presented Anna with Australia Day Honors and the Australian Young Achiever Award. After 12 years, she retired at the peak of her career as a Senior Principal Artist.

After putting away her ballet slippers, Anna spent six months obtaining her helicopter license and fulfilled her solo hour requirements over the Great Barrier Reef. She then focused on a career in sales and marketing, initially becoming the Vice President of the World Oceanman (similar to the Ironman triathlon) where she worked one on one, with many of the Fortune 500 companies raising over $20 million dollars in sponsorship.

Anna took her first step into real estate at the age of fifteen when she bought her first condominium. Ms. Houssels most recently was the general manager of international sales for Nakheel Corporation, a key entity of Dubai World and one of the largest real estate developers in the world. While her responsibilities included international sales, she was instrumental in furthering the following joint ventures: The One&Only Cape Town Resort, a joint venture between Kerzner International and Nakheel; Mazagan Resort Morocco, a co-development project with Kerzner International and Nakheel; and W Koh Samui Retreat and Residences in Thailand, a joint development project with Amburaya Resorts Co. Ltd. and Nakheel. In addition, Ms. Houssels oversaw VIP sales for CityCenter in Las Vegas, a $9.2 Billion mixed use real estate project developed as a joint venture between MGM Mirage and Dubai World. In this capacity, she focused on expanding the sales network through VIP customers and referrals and liaising with MGM MIRAGE presidents and key executives, plus international and domestic casino marketing teams. Her responsibilities included leading event sales nationally and internationally, and developing new sales leads through business-to-business channels, as well as professional and social personal network associations where she specializes in high rise and early phase investment. She is noted for negotiating attractive prices for her faithful clients and international investment groups. In a competitive arena, trust and respect need to be earned; she takes on the challenge by finding her buyers superior investment opportunities, treating their money as though it were her own, with 100% commitment. She has a thriving work ethic, strong market knowledge, great negotiating skills and a vibrant personality. Anna spends her time between Sydney, Australia, Nevada and California, USA.
