Patek Philippe launches Nautilus watches 40th anniversary limited edition

Patek Philippe celebrates the 40th anniversary of its Nautilus watch range with two new limited edition luxury pieces – the reference 5711/1P three-hand model and 5976/1G chronograph version.

Each of the limited edition watches feature bold lateral ridges which are a fitting amalgamation of elegance and sporty functionality, much like the very first in the lineage. The 44 mm Nautilus Ref. 5711/1P comes in a definitive blue 18 carat gold dial and features a flawless rare white Top Wesselton diamond set into the bezel above the lugs along with similarly carved 18-karat white gold baton hour markers. Further, it boasts of a self-winding caliber 324 S C movement with a 21-karat gold central rotor, a Spiromax balance spring and a sapphire case back – all presented in a luxurious box made of polished stainless steel frames and iconic hinged covers.

On the other hand, the second in the series – the 49.25mm Nautilus Chronograph, Ref. 5976 /1G features an 18-karat white gold body along with a self-winding flyback chronograph, a CH 28-520 C automatic movement and a Spiromax balance spring made of Silinvar. Similar to its counterpart, the chronograph is embellished with a flawless Top Wesselton baguette and princess-cut diamonds that come wrapped in a classic cork box.

While the Nautilus Ref. 5711/1P is priced at $113,400, the Ref. 5976 /1G that retails at $90,000.
